Expensive addiction

My dinner for almost every week, or worse, sometimes up to 2 or 3 times per week. Have been trying to justify to myself that such indulgence is perfectly fine since fish is excellent for raising the HDL levels and is rich in omega 3 so can prevent coronary diseases :)
So much for good health. Keeping my fingers crossed that I don't die of mercury/lead/nickel poisioning from excessive consumption.

omg it looks amazing!! i love sushi! have been craving it since we got back from ecuador. what's the fish with the skin on? i haven't really seen it before. the only kind with skin that i've had is mackeral!
There are 2 types of fish with the skin on in the picture.
The one on the left and centre is sardine. A little fishy. The one on the extreme bottom right is pacific saury. This is very very nice, and is a seasonal fish which is only available at this time of the year I heard.
The white fish between the salmon is called leather jacket, which is one of my fav too. The liver of the fish is made into a sauce to go with the fish, and although it sounds rather disgusting, it actually tastes damn good!
